As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has provided insights into how top io games have performed on the Android platform in the US market. Here's a snapshot of the trends and numbers for the top five contenders.
Agar.io showed a notable spike in downloads towards the end of the quarter, jumping from 4.6M in the first week to an impressive 18M in the final week. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at 23M and peaking at 37M. Revenue for the game fluctuated, with highs of 333K and lows of 131K.
Little Big Snake experienced a steady performance in revenue, ranging from 82K to 218K, while downloads saw a gradual increase from 2M to 2.2M. Weekly active users had a rise midway through the quarter, from 6.2M to a high of 8.3M.
CASUAL AZUR GAMES' Worms Zone .io - Hungry Snake also enjoyed a steady climb in downloads, culminating at 42M. Weekly active users showed healthy growth, starting at 297M and increasing to 295M by the quarter's end. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, staying within the range of 75K to 188K.
Snake Clash! by Supercent, Inc. had a remarkable quarter in terms of downloads, with a significant rise from 54M to over 101M. Weekly active users saw a consistent increase from 187M to 382M. Revenue trends for Snake Clash! were modest, with a peak at 78K.
